Hello
My name is Christopher Vodochodsky and I am the owner of Ascending Phoenix Film Production Studios LLC in Des Moines Iowa. I am a director, producer, screenwriter, actor and editor, that currently lives in Des Moines Iowa.
My Story
I was born in Marshalltown Iowa to Marjorie Vodochodsky and Mike Tuttle at the Marshalltown Surgical Center on August 12th, 1987.
I was always a bookworm and a cinephile even at a young age. When I was old enough to write, I was writing short stories and had a plethora of original ideas. It wasn't until 2017 and joined a program called Friends In Film, did I realize what I really wanted to do with my future. To get into the film industry and tell those stories I had stored up over the years. With Friends In Film, I was able to do just that. I have connected with so many local Iowa talent and crew, that my vision is coming to fruition.
With Iowa Film recovering its name over the 2011 Film Commission Scandal, I decided to help bring the love of film back to Iowa. So I decided to create my own film company and my own projects with the stories I have in mind.
